Belated Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

In Scotland the new year or Hogmanay as we call it is a big celebration. We Scots love to say goodbye to the year that has past and give a warm toast to the new year approaching.

It often gets us thinking of what we would have liked to have done more of, or done better in the previous years and leads to the making of new years resolutions. Generally they consist of things like going to the gym more, eating healthier and making more time for the family. These are all fantastic goals to aim for in the coming year but how many people do you know that actually stick with them?

I'm not normally someone who makes resolutions, I tend to just try and be the best me I can be all year round. However, since starting my journey as a business owner and coach I've realised that I've not been using my full potential.

I've been putting limitations on myself.

I've been happily going about my days half assing my life despite thinking I've been putting my all into everything I do.

Well

NO MORE.

2016 is the year that I break through those self imposed limitations and build the life that my family and I want and truly deserve.

I also want to help as many people as I can to break out of their own limitations. To build their businesses. To build the lives that they deserve.

My C9 journey

This was a tough process to go through but I had reached the point where I had to kick start my healthy habits again. So it made sense to try the Clean 9 plan from Forever Living

The first two days were tough, but that was my own fault. I hadn't pre-cleansed or cut down on the caffeine I was taking in before hand. The day before I started I had a huuuuge takeaway meal and took the girls out for tea and cake. Needless to say the withdrawals hit me HARD. I stuck to it though through those first two days and man am I glad I did. Day three came and I felt great, I had more energy, started my exercise routine again and for my first meal of the plan ate super healthily and enjoyed it.

The rest of the plan went smoothly, other than the odd headache which I think was still down to the lack of caffeine. Now that the plan has finished I am truly reaping the benefits, I am eating healthier, exercising again and feel amazing. For me this cleanse was the best thing I have ever done for my health. This is something I will definitely be doing again to help keep me on the right tack.

As you can see from my before an after pictures, I lost the bloat around my stomach area which is something I have always struggled with, even when I was at the peak of my fitness a couple of years ago.
